Functions &
Responsibilities

Assist with
monitoring
patient/client
records for
appropriate
billing and
regulatory
compliance,
quality
outcome
achievement,
and adverse
events.
·
Research,
collect and
analyze
quality
improvement
data
including
data
management
and
reporting
for key
indicators,
outcome
monitors,
patient
occurrences,
patient
satisfaction
data, etc.
·
Balance team
and
individual
responsibilities;
be open and
objective to
other's
views; give
and welcome
feedback;
contribute
to positive
team goals;
and put the
success of
the team
above own
interests.
·
Coordinate
and/or
facilitate
enhanced
decision-making
initiatives
and organize
projects
(e.g., OBQI,
Institute
for
Healthcare
Improvement
initiatives).
Qualifications/Experience
-
Graduate
of State
Board
approved
program
for
Registered
Nurses.
-
Current
license
to
ractice
nursing
in the
State of Iowa for Registered Nurse.
-
Three
years
nursing
experience,
preferably
in
community/home
health,
management
or
review.
-
Knowledge
of
performance
improvement,
quality
assurance
and
utilization
management.
