named new IAHC lobbyists
John Cacciatore and Justin
Hupfer, of PolicyWorks, were
named the new lobbyists for the Iowa
Alliance in Home Care at the
September 16, 2008 board of
directors meeting. Frank
Severino, the IAHC lobbyist the past
3 years has retired.
The PolicyWorks agreement means that
IAHC will have the resources of a
firm with many years of lobbying and
state government experience working
on its behalf. The PolicyWorks
team will be working with the IAHC
board and Advocacy committee on a
number of upcoming advocacy
activities and events, including a
2008 - 2009 Legislative Priorities
brochure and 2009 "Day on the Hill"
event at the state capitol.
