Online Training Benefit Now Available 

All IAHC members are eligible to use a FREE “Online Training” membership benefit from RCTCLearn.Net.  RCTCLearn.Net, the branded name for Rochester Community and Technical College’s (RCTC) Internet based training programs, is a leader in Internet-based training for the Home Health Care and Hospice Industry.   

Great for new employee orientation and for home health aide CMS mandatory annual education requirement satisfaction! 

Who: All employees of Iowa Alliance in Home Care member agencies 

What: RCTCLearn.net, an online training service with a large and expanding number home care training modules 

Where: A new “Online Education” tab has been added to the Iowa Alliance in Home Care’s web site (www.IowaHomeCare.org).  The training resources are accessible from any computer with an internet connection. 

Why: IAHC believes that all members should have access to quality, up-to-date and affordable training information for their employees. 

When: This new benefit is available now. 

How: Interested agencies must contact IAHC (ahuisman@iowahomecare.org or 515.282.3965) to request their FREE User ID 

All members are eligible to receive one RCTCLearn.Net User ID absolutely FREE.  Each User ID (i.e. User Name & Password) will enable any number of agency employees to view as many online training modules as often as they want.  Note: You will not be able to track individual employee activity (e.g. module progress tracking and certificate issuance) unless they have their own unique User ID.  Each agency should decide whether they need additional User IDs.  An agency may purchase additional User IDs for $50/ea. per year.   

Amy Huisman is the RCTCLearn.Net “Association” Training Coordinator.  All interested agencies must contact Amy (ahuisman@iowahomecare.org or 515.282.3965) at the IAHC office to request their User ID.  Requesting agencies will be assigned their unique User ID and will be provided with an “RCTCLearn.Net Home Health Agency Manual”.  IAHC is limiting the initial User ID assignment to 100 until overall demand is determined.  As a result, please only request a User ID if your agency plans to use it. 

IMPORTANT: Each agency identifies an internal RCTCLearn.Net “Agency” Training Coordinator.  The Agency TC is the student’s first point of contact.  The Agency TC will distribute and manage all User IDs for all agency employees that will be using RCTCLearn.Net.
